Grand Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan Fishing Report

I had a chance to fish a smaller lake this week with Andrew and his Dad, Jim. We learned how to cast and present bluegill poppers to gills, small and large mouth bass. This is a great way to introduce a beginner to fly fishing. Lots of action, all top water, great fun.

Andrew did a super job learning how to cast a fly, hook and land a fish.

Remember, the future of our sport depends on bringing new anglers to the sport. Take a kid fishing
